Test-lagring av
CO2 på Hurum
Offshore: Forskere
regjeringen å utsette Mongstad-månelandingen allerede i 2009.
over 270 millioner tonn CO2/år innen 2030.
Oljedirektoratet:
Radio Haugaland:
Les

French carbon
sequestration test declared a success
The Guardian: In the
midst of the Jurançon vineyards is a plot of land surrounded by shrubs. At
first sight this patch of southwest France might seem a haven of
tranquillity, but the visitor notices the hum of a compressor, odd control
levers sticking out of the ground, and two pale green pipes running across
the field, then down a succession of valleys leading to the Lacq gas
facility. Les mer Carbon Capture and Storage Crucial for Mitigating
Climate Change
CSLF: The 2008
Hokkaido G8 recommendation to launch 20 large-scale CCS demonstration
projects by 2010 remains a challenge and will require that governments and
industry accelerate the pace toward achieving this critical goal. This is one
of the main findings of a new report by the International Energy Agency, the
Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum, and the Global CCS Institute, to be
presented to G8 leaders at their June Summit in Muskoka, Canada. Les mer We invite you to
keep up to date with DNV’s activities in Carbon Capture and S torage
DNV: DNV presented
new, joint-industry, guidelines for implementing CCS at an event in Oslo on
the 5th of May. These guidelines cover the CO2 capture, transport and
geological storage elements of the CCS value chain and have been developed by
leading industrial players working in close dialogue with an international
body of regulators. Les mer Carbon capture
plans failing - IEA
News24: The world is
failing to meet goals to develop carbon capture technology, the energy
watchdog to industrialised economies said on Monday as it reported back to G8
countries on their past promises. Les mer Scientists
develop method to detect, track carbon dioxide
USA Today: Scientists
have developed a method for detecting and tracking carbon dioxide deep
underground, giving the federal government an important tool as scientists
try to keep carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from crowding the
atmosphere. Les mer Carbon
Sequestration Newsletter June 2010
NETL: Each month, NETL
publishes a short newsletter describing significant events related to carbon
sequestration that have taken place over the past month. Les mer Large-Scale
Industrial CCS Projects Selected for Continued Testing
U.S. Department of
Energy: Three Recovery Act funded projects have been selected by the U.S.
Department of Energy (DOE) to continue testing large-scale carbon capture and
storage (CCS) from industrial sources. Les mer Skyonic Pioneers
