The CLIMIT secretariat played an active role, both in the programme committee, as moderators and presenters.

The 2014 CO2 conference gathered about 80 participants over two days, and is part of Tekna's (The Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals) course days in Trondheim. Aage Stangeland of the Research Council of Norway and Tore Hatlen of Gassnova chaired the first session of this year's conference, with focus on climate and energy policy. The two have also participated in the programme committee for the conference. Gassnova's Svein Eggen presented the status in the US and Norway while Gassnova colleague Tore Hatlen presented six international projects in North America and Europe.
