CLIMIT is the Norwegian research programme for accelerating the commercialisation of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) by financial stimulation of research, development and demonstration. The program now includes CCS in fossil fuel-based power generation and industrial point source emissions. The programme is managed by Gassnova in cooperation with the Research Council of Norway.
